A fine solid performance from everyone. The best thing about this game was that you could tell that the lads were really enjoying themselves and glad to be back.
We went 1 nil up after John Foster scored a cracking free kick from near the half way line.
We defended really well all evening and Daniel Clair enjoyed the centre with John Foster while our fullbacks of Caimin Murphy and Dylan McLoughlin enjoyed joining in the attacks. Aaron Rudd, Adam Cahill, Leo Fanning and Aaron Boyd all worked hard in midfield with Sean Hanley and Liam Mcaugh also doing well.
Mungret levelled during the second half. Then Darly Buckley made a great double save to keep us in the game. Daryl had safe hands all evening. Matthew OKane, Jamie Mulcahy, Charlie Linton and Jake McNamara all started the second half and all worked hard as well.
